Our Mission

 

The purpose of the Posse is to provide support to the community and Sheriff in any appropriate manner either mounted or unmounted. The Posse shall provide a community service by helping, supporting and/or encouraging those interested in horseback riding and associated activities including (but not limited to) participation in parades, sponsoring shows in connection with horsemanship and trail riding activities to increase the knowledge of remote areas of Douglas County, and any charitable horse related activities.
